Week Wrap-up

I want to make this a weekly thing. Even if it's just to say "check out this website I saw earlier this week!" or "Check out this PR".

BUT FIRST, I said in my last post that I was going to talk a little aboout IIFYM and flexible dieting. SO, I found flexible dieting when I started following Krissy Mae Cagney on instagram (follow her! she's awesome and full of tips and info) I read about it, thought it sounded awesome and was scientifically backed. Then I tried it on my own, talked with a coach and now I'm hooked!

I started off just looking to lose a little weight, but mostly maintain and build muscle. NOW, I am currently on a "cut" ....meaning, I want to compete in weightlifting and I would like to not compete in the heaviest weight class. Losing 15 pounds is hard without losing muslce, so flexible dieting is alowing me to lose weight and still fuel my body to keep my strength. How's it working, you ask? Well, I'm down about 6-7 punds and I'm stuck. Yeah, it's not easy and it requires diligence and consistancy. My struggle definitely stems from "I had a birthday and surgery and a super bowl party and yadda yadda yadda excuses excuses....I am human and I like to eat. I also love my body the way it is (on most days) and saying no to food while my husband is eating everything in the house is really hard! I am refocusing and I still have 2 months to get to where I need to be.

I know what it's like to struggle with weight loss and get frustrated. It's never easy and we all need the support and the kick in the a$$ to stay on track. I'm here to help.
